Ipoh (pronounced /ˈiːpoʊ/) (4°36′N 101°04′E / 4.60°N 101.07°E / 4.60; 101.07) is a city in Malaysia and is the capital of the state of Perak. It is approximately 200 km (125 miles) north of Kuala Lumpur via the North-South Expressway.

Today, "Ipoh" usually refers to the territory under administration of Ipoh City Council or Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh, which includes the smaller towns adjacent to the city such as Silibin, Chemor, Jelapang, Falim, Menglembu and Tanjung Rambutan. Historically, "Ipoh" referred to the Old Town and New Town areas divided by the Kinta River at its heart, from which the city grew. From the late 1980s Greentown, located beside the New Town, was transformed from old government quarters to an administrative and commercial centre of Ipoh, often overshadowing both the Old Town and New Town.

EMKAY may not companies should be held responsible, but EMKAY owners should be responsible . This caused many buyers to buy the house as collateral by the owner of EMKAY guarantee that the Taman Kinding Raya is a project that will not be abandoned because its support by EMKAY. Among other things he said, who else wants to help the bumiputra group if not the bumiputra themselves. That is part of speech at the launching day at the site, which also held a variety of activities such as coloring and futsal0. He himself insists he couldn't just leave EMKAY logo emblazoned in advertising if EMKAY not become the backbone of this project . But after the project is abandoned, he himself denied being involved in this project. Even when appealed for help to restore the project by the buyer and SUK Perak, they demanded willing to help if SUK may grant other land as a reward. Wow , how great his business personal. (Actually you better ask.. what is the relation of EDARAN INTAN and EMKAY?) What ever happened.. they already know.. their neck are safe.. the buyer? "Dont worry.. the kerajaan will help them." And as always.. they can still walk the magnificent, as long as they donate and contribute to religion, communities & politics activities.

Hi I am Manjit Singh and was a student of ACS primary from 1958 to 191963 and then of ASC Secondary from 1964 right up to upper sixth in 1970. I would love to contact teachers /classmates of that time. My contact is I retired from Singapore Airlines in early 2013 and we had quite a few SIA chaps from ACS eg Stanley Kuppusamy, Alex de Silva, Tan Chik Quee. and reminiscing of the old school days and of teachers did feel us with positive emotions. Alas if only we could meet big toast for all the teachers and friends that made us men from boys. Have a great 2015 Cheers manjit
